The Burnaby Board of Trade announces its shortlist of nominees for its annual Burnaby Business Excellence Awards (BBEA) on Thursday, Oct. 1 at a luncheon at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown.

Categories include Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Burnaby Community Spirit, Business Innovation, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Not-for-Profit Organization of the Year and Environmental Sustainability.

Also at the event, BBOT and the City of Burnaby will induct telecommunications company Glentel Inc. into the BBEA Hall of Fame.
