Last week the Union SteamShip Co. Marina notified the public via the Undercurrent that we would arrange to have a fire extinguisher service company on site to check and service your extinguisher. It was noted that the checkup would be free. The company we have used in the past did the check for free; however they notified us at the last minute they would not able to come to Bowen. The company we did arrange to come to Bowen had a charge of $6 per extinguisher.

We are sorry for any inconvenience and/or costs that you were not anticipating.
