Chilliwack’s peewee Blue Giants (10-1) will face the Abbotsford Falcons (10-1) in a rematch of last year’s VCFL final.

The game takes place tomorrow at noon at Townsend Park, pitting two evenly matched teams against each other.

Chilliwack and Abbotsford split a pair of regular season games. The Falcons downed the Giants 43-34 in week six.

The Giants rebounded with a 36-24 win over Abbotsford in week seven.

Against Meadow Ridge, Tyler Sprott carried the ball 18 times for 196 yards and three touchdowns.

Wyatt Uzick had 11 carries for 117 yards while Emerson Smith, Conner Moore and Spencer Breslin added touchdowns for the Giants.

Guard A.J. Sagrott and blocking back Cameron Lampart helped to pave the way with several outstanding blocks.

The top ranked Giants D was tough as always, surrendering only 37 yards in the entire game.

Top performer Chris Derksen had a sack and 4.5 tackles. Elijah Schellenberg had a couple of tackles and a timely fumble recovery. Gabe Mannes, Ethan Mastin and Brody Patterson played well from their halfback, corner and linebacker positions.

Outside linebacker Jordon Breuker had several tackles as well. Broden Laynes filled in for injured linebacker Sam Meyer, and played admirably.
