Home was not sweet for Chilliwack’s rugby Crusaders last weekend, as the club suffered losses in three separate divisions.

The U-19 squad opened the weekend with a match against the Meraloma Rugby Club from Vancouver. The Crusaders were aggressive and dominated early on, but the Meralomas weathered the storm and rallied for a 34-24 win.

Nik Seroka and underager Kyle Trydal-McQuaig had several great runs in the losing cause.

The senior men had a rough outing against the storied Capilano Rugby Club. The North Vancouverites dominated all facets of the game and cruised to a 50-0 win.

Sunday saw the U-17 crew drop a disappointing 29-17 game against the United Rugby Club from Coquitlam.
