On Wednesday, schools from all over the Fraser Valley came to Hope to compete in the Fraser Valley Cross Country Championships.
Chilliwack secondary school’s senior boys team placed sixth overall.
The team was led by Ted Kim, who ran the 6.5 kilometres in a blistering 26.24 minutes to place fourth.
Charles Dick placed 24th with a time of 26.54.
The rest of the team was made up of Caleb Schier (32nd), Zach Flemming (48th), Aaron Angers (70th), Anthony Dick (83rd), and Cody Esau (102).
The team will representing CSS and the Fraser Valley on Nov. 7 at the B.C. Cross Country Championships at Cresent Park.
In the senior girls division Laurel Dick ran the 4.5km race in 23.54 to finish 67th, and Nicole Ell finished 88th with a solid time of 25.04.
