Chilliwack’s U-14 Red Striker girls earned a 2-0 victory over the Langley Force on Sunday afternoon.
An evenly-matched first half ended with Chilliwack holding a 1-0 lead.
After near misses by Kristy Ricard and Megan Kelley, the Strikers finally struck on a corner kick opportunity.
Brylee James slammed the kick off the far goal post and in at the 27 minute mark to send her team cruising into the break.
Chilliwack stepped on the gas and dominated the Force in the second half, getting a late insurance goal from Kelsey Degroot.
