Chilliwack’s peewee A3 Junior Bruins showed the after effects of the Thanksgiving long weekend, suffering a 10-2 road loss to South Delta Monday night.

Defenseman Leo Baker scored the first Chilliwack goal early in the second period, assisted by forward Brad Jackson.

Midway through the period, Anthony Imanse struck for Chilliwack, which only trailed 4-2 at that point.

But South Delta took over from there, exploding for six unanswered goals to seal the deal.

The peewees host Richmond tonight at Prospera Centre, and Port Coquitlam tomorrow at Twin Rinks.

They travel to Merritt for a tournament Oct. 30-Nov. 1.

— The Chilliwack Junior Bruins atom A2 team got goals from Colton Goldthorpe and Mackenzie Jackson in an 11-2 loss to the Cloverdale Colts on Wednesday night.
