Chilliwack’s U-15 soccer Strikers dominated their division at the 25th Annual Chilliwack Youth Soccer Tournament, held Aug. 29-30.

The Strikers went undefeated at 4-0, receiving gold medals for their first place performance. Welcome additions to the team were forwards Brett Leon and Daniel Babtunde, who struck fear to the hearts of opposition goalies with continual shots on net.

The Strikers dispatched Quesnel 5-1 and Squamish 5-0 and Surrey twice by scores of 5-0 and 4-0.

Newcomers Carson Holm, Neall Struwig and Curtis Tolmie added depth to the midfield and the always-solid defensive line was beefed up with the addition of Connor Chiba, who aggressively helped keep opponents at bay.

Keeper Graeme Fugger logged three shutouts behind his stellar defence.

The boys begin their regular season schedule on Saturday.
