The Sudden Impact Dragon Boat Club sent one boat to the prestigious Canadian National Dragon Boat Championships, held Aug. 21-23 at the Olympic Basin in Montreal. Sudden Impact Black posted solid results, earning a pair of podium finishes.
On Saturday morning, SI Black rowed their way to first place in the premier mixed C division 500 metre championship, clocking in with a time of 2:09.66.
On Sunday morning, they paddled their way to top spot in the premier mixed C division 250m final, crossing the finish line in 1:05.73.
They capped off the trip by placing third in the Premier mixed 2000m race.
