Lions landing at Cottonwood Mall
Tomorrow is Football Day at Sports & Stuff in Cottonwood Mall, as three members of the B.C. Lions pay a visit.
Defensive end Brent Johnson will be joined by quarterback Jarius Jackson and running back Martell Mallett from 1-3 p.m., meeting fans and signing autographs.
Mallett, a Canadian Football League rookie, ranks third in rushing with 492 yards and two touchdowns.
Johnson is tied for the Lions team lead (second in CFL) with five quarterback sacks. Jackson has been annointed the team’s starting QB, with Buck Pierce sidelined by a concussion.
