A 54-year-old man was beaten and robbed by three armed men who burst into his home on Alken Road last Thursday.

RCMP Cpl. Lea-Anne Dunlop said the three men, two of them wearing ski masks, forced open the front door, produced firearms and demanded money from the victim. He was also assaulted during the robbery, but suffered only minor injuries.

The three suspects were given an undisclosed amount of money and left the home in a dark-colored mini-van.

Police were called to the residence in the 4400-block Alken Road at about 8:25 p.m.

The one suspect who was not wearing a mask was described as a white male, about 5’8” tall with a slim build. The other two masked suspects were about six feet tall with average builds. All three were wearing dark clothing and gloves.

Anyone with information about this incident, or possible suspects, is asked to call the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. A reward of up to $2,000 may be offered for tips that lead to the identity of the suspects responsible.
