All 7-Eleven stores were handing out free Slurpees, iced coffees and food samples in celebration of its 40th anniversary in Canada. Fun facts: Manitoba has been the Slurpee Capital of the World for ten consecutive years and is known as “Slurpeetoba”; the true medical name for brainfreeze is 'sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia' and the cure is to press your tongue against the roof of your mouth.
