Bullet ends cougar carnage in Ryder Lake

A "perfect" shot through the heart Thursday morning ended a huge mountain lion's rampage in Ryder Lake that left 11 sheep dead, and parents in the rural area worried about the safety of their children waiting at bus stops for the return to school next week.

"It's a beautiful cat," Marlene Letkeman said, her voice choking with emotion.
