Recognizing the needs of seniors and lack of a Seniors Activity Centre at Mission, the kind and generous folks at Kingsway Arms at Cedarbrooke Chateau have come to the rescue by sponsoring a Seniors Activity Centre Fundraising Dinner and Dance. This will kick-start fundraising and encourage seniors to assist other seniors and hopefully the community to respond now, by actively supporting this event and other future planned fundraising venues.

Ticket $50 "donations" are now available and all proceeds will go to the Seniors Activity Centre development fund. So, if you are a senior, know a senior, have a senior in your family or simply care about seniors, it is time to demonstrate the community spirit to help seniors get a much needed activity centre and legacy for future Seniors.

The fundraising dinner dance is at Cedarbrook Chateau, 32331 7th Avenue on Halloween Night. Door opens at 6 p.m., dinner at 7:30 p.m. Entertainment and prizes, with the grand prize being a flat screen TV.

A follow-up event is a bus tour of nearby Activity Centers at Maple-Ridge & Coquitlam, on Nov. 24, leaving at 8:30 a.m.

Tickets available at Kingsway Arms front desk now or call Bob Rodgers (days) 604-814-3441 or email robert2rodgers@hotmail.com for Halloween Night Fundraising tickets or bus tour reservations. Lots of tickets available but are limited, so buy now and do your part to help Mission seniors.
