As part of Homelessness Action Week, Mission Community Services is hosting a one-stop shop for those in need Tuesday.
Mission Connect will directly link people to the services they require, with the goal to create connections with people that will improve their quality of life and link them to permanent housing solutions.
This event patterns a similar one held across the river last year called Abbotsford Connect.
Organizers are hoping the local event will draw more than 60 service recipients, providing mental health assessments, outreach and advocacy information, mini-resume workshop, showers, haircuts, etc.
Mission Connect happens Oct. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. at Union Gospel Mission, 33071 North Railway Ave.
