Mission RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a 22-year-old woman reported missing Oct. 11, 2008.

Anne Rose Peters is described as aboriginal and about 5’11” tall. She has a slender build, brown eyes and long brown hair. She was known to frequent Mission’s downtown area.

There have been a number of reports from people in Chilliwack who have seen her since October, said Const. Amanda Fallis, but she has not had any contact with friends or family.

It is possible Peters may be in an area known for illicit drugs, as she suffers from substance abuse dependency, says police.

Anyone with information about Anne Peters’ whereabouts is asked to contact Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161. If you want to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
