Valley Christian School (VCS) is kicking off a special 25th anniversary event with a focus on past alumni, staff and VCS family this Saturday (Oct. 3) at 7p.m. at the Kingsway Arms at Cedarbrooke Chateau.
This event will include a performance by the current VCS choir, a time of worship led by Philip and Brenda Janz (of the Brian Doerksen band), and a tribute by Dr. Dorothy Peters, former VCS teacher and principal. The evening will include an array of delightful desserts and refreshments, nostalgia, photos and stories. Above all, it will be a celebration of Valley Christian School’s strong presence of serving and educating our children in a solid Christian environment over the past 25 years.
VCS Principal Bill Humphreys says, “Since the school was founded in 1983, we have witnessed VCS as a place where we strive for excellence spiritually and academically. VCS is a very special place for children to learn and where we partner with the parents to train children to become strong in their faith and to contribute to the community.”
Kingsway Arms is located at 32331 Seventh Ave.
