Founded in 1908 by J.A. Bates, the Mission Record joined the Black Community Newspaper Group in January, 1997. Along the way, it has grown in step with the community it serves. The Mission Record is distributed every week to more than 10,000 homes and businesses in one of the fastest growing communities in British Columbia's Lower Mainland.
