Now that the season for day trippers in Harrison has pretty much ended, it is fair to comment on the fact that the crap factor (broken glass, litter and dog messes) in the Village was way down from previous years.
The civic improvement projects undertaken by Council and the really hard work and planning and beautification by the Municipal Grounds crew obviously affected the respect visitors in return showed the community.
While I don’t know if that was a planned intent, I think it was related and a very good thing for Harrison.
