Greater population, greater problems

Dear Editor,

On July 1st the Harrison Hot Springs community came out to celebrate. We had a parade lead by our Mayor. After witnessing our Mayor ride with full pomp I had to ask myself: Does he know he is waving at people that have been witness to two murders on these streets in the past year? Does he know how the beach residents suffer with the wild and uncontrolled youth that destroy property, threaten tourists, and engage in property damage and theft? I wonder if he can hear the raging car tires?

The idea of allowing more population without a solid foundation seems bizarre to me. Do you not understand that with greater population come greater problems?
