Woman dies at Chehalis workplace

A workplace accident has claimed the life of a 63-year-old woman. Police say the woman was operating a bulldozer at a job site near Chehalis on Tuesday afternoon, when the heavy machinery slipped down an embankment and fell on its side.
The woman was ejected from the bulldozer and fell into a pool of water. She died on scene.
She was onsite working on the development of a settling pond. An investigation is underway and police have not yet released the victim's name.
