A paraglider who apparently misjudged his altitude was rescued from a tree on Sunday, near Bridal Falls.

Agassiz RCMP were called at about 2:20 p.m. on September 13, to help with the glider who was stuck in a tree on Mt. Cheam. He was found to be not injured, and police called Kent Harrison Search and Rescue, who were assisted by Chilliwack SAR.

By 7 p.m., the man was rescued and still uninjured.

Cpl. Lea-Anne Dunlop from the Chilliwack RCMP says it's just "one example of the great work done by Search and Rescue throughout the Upper Fraser Valley."
