The Agassiz Fire Department responded to a number of different types of calls this last week.

A burnt fridge motor was the cause of a smoky smell in a house on Elm Road on June 14. On the same day, a forest fire broke out at the CPR tracks at the bottom of Mt. Woodside,

Hydro lines went down on Limbert Road on June 16, and there was smoke in a house the next day on Highway 9. Everyone is okay from that incident.

There was a burning complaint on June 18, and they assisted the BC Ambulance Service at Vimy Road on June 19.

They responded to an alarm call on June 20, as well as a single vehicle rollover in the 7200 block of Rockwell Drive, and a vehicle and bush fire on Kennedy Road, the same day.
