The lights are being untangled. The decorations dusted. Santa's suit is airing as we go to press... it's nearly time for the Festival of Lights. This winter, the Harrison Agassiz Chamber of Commerce is working to build on the event that has been so popular in the past by adding a few more ideas. There will be a Christmas Market, Sidewalk Sale, and a Lagoon Lantern Float that will hopefully tie together both of the Harrison and Kent communities' events.

There will be goings on November 28th from 2 pm until 6 pm in Harrison Hot Springs and along Pioneer Avenue in Agassiz. There are also events to go to such as the Breakfast with Santa in Harrison, the Festival of Trees display in the Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa, performances by the Agassiz Jazz Band, the Lantern Float, caroling by the Multicultural Choir. There will be an official light up by Mayor and Council at 6 pm.

There are fantastic prizes for the best decorated business and residence so watch for more information on how to enter in the Agassiz Harrison Observer, along with further timelines on the places to be during this year's Festival of Lights.
