Twilight Concert Series has started and will continue throughout the summer. The series features different performers each Wednesday night at Pioneer Park from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The concerts are free, just bring a lawn chair, blanket, some friends, and even a picnic dinner to enjoy some music in the shade.

This week features Landon Lucas (July 29) and there are four more concerts to go. On August 5, enjoy the Sweetwater Duo of Bill and Marie Burgess. On August 12, enjoy Chilliwack's own Pardon My Striptease, featuring Agassiz' Andrew Putt as lead singer. On August 19, Wylie and the Other Guy are performing, and Todd Richard and the Reluctant Cowboys finish the series off on August 29. While the concerts are offered free to the community through partnerships with the Agassiz Harrison Lions Club, the Agassiz Harrison Observer and the Propsera Credit Union, there is a chance to donate at the concerts to help with the costs. Refreshments will be made available for sale at the District table.

Sweetwater is a versatile music duo with Bill and Marie, who perform a variety of favourites for dancing and easy listening. They have performed throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Interior, including festivals, dances, and concerts. Marie is the lead singer with an energetic stage presence and the innate ability to adapt to different music styles. Bill plays guitar, keyboard, and banjo, with vocals. Together their popular music and friendly personalities delight their audiences for a memorable and enjoyable evening.
