The Abbotsford Falcons community football program went a perfect 4-0 against its local rivals, the Mission Niners, last Saturday at Rotary Stadium.

The Falcons bantams capped a perfect 8-0 regular season with a 34-0 victory over their Mission counterparts. The win marked the fifth shutout of the season for the Abby squad, which got two touchdowns and an interception from Justin Douglas. Harley Loewen, Jorden Best and Freddy Lyhne also found the end zone, while Matt Riley booted four converts to round out the scoring.

The Falcons bantams finished the regular season having out-scored their opponents 288-26. They host the Valley semifinal playoff on Nov. 14 at Rotary Stadium against the North Langley Bears.

In other Falcons-Niners action, the Abby junior bantams won 34-6; the peewees won 38-0; and the atoms won 6-0.

The Falcons midgets took on Kelowna, and dropped a 19-0 decision.
