Golfers from around the province flocked to Ledgeview Golf and Country Club for the annual mixed invitational tournament over Labour Day weekend.
Ledgeview’s own Robert and Donna Simpson did the local club proud, as they finished atop the low net category. The Simpsons’ score of 124 just edged out the 124.5 posted by Tom Saulnier and Mona Morrison.
On the low gross side, Bernie Bolokowski and Teri Fisher of Semiahmoo were the big winners with a two-day total score of 143. The Ledgeview twosome of David and Margaret Hong ended up two strokes back at 145, while defending champions Nancy MacMillan and Jeff Sheldon finished third at 146.
