An open letter to Mayor George Peary:
Mr. Mayor, since you are the conductor of the money train, I would like to make a suggestion on how to generate more money for Abbotsford.
Instead of raising gas prices, which are already too high, why don’t we get rid of those huge buses that are running around town with three or four people on them.
I have even seen them empty at times.
We do not need a bus that big. And, how much does it cost to fill them up with gas? Would the gas tax include them also?
It is time to downsize.
