It is absolutely amazing that Gordon Campbell and Colin Hansen have learned so much about the benefits of the HST in about three to four months.
During the election they had no plans to harmonize these taxes but since re-election they have had an epiphany that this would be good for us.
In my opinion they lied, the only thing they see is the $1.6 billion from the federal government.
They ignore the big increase in costs to the taxpayers and the lost jobs in many sectors of our struggling economy. This is a tax increase in disguise.
They would not have won the last election if their intentions had been raised during the election campaign. It is time to recall some of our Liberal MLAs.
