Library visit long overdue
Updated: July 17, 2009 4:24 PM
I recently took my children to the Clearbrook Library because I heard about the summer reading program and thought it would be good motivation for my children while school is out for summer.
After a morning at our beautiful library, we realized that our library visit has been long overdue.
The librarians are friendly, the facility is marvellous, and the bathrooms are clean. There are contests for the children, educational computer games, a gorgeous friendship garden and a myriad of books we have not read.
My eight-year-old daughter decided she wants to work at the library and my five-year-old son is ticking off the books he has read to earn weekly stickers and a medal at the end of summer.
We left the library with 20 books and videos, and we are looking forward to our upcoming visits.
If any of your readers have not been to the library in awhile, it might be time to make an overdue visit to this wonderful facility.
