Cash for bobsled run would house hundreds

Recently on CKNW’s Sean Leslie Show, provincial Housing Minister Rich Coleman stated that $150 million would house 1,000 families.
At this time the province does not have that amount set aside for housing, so a construction date is years into the future.
Apparently the bobsled run for the 17 days of the 2010 Olympics cost $100 million to build. There was never any question about that money being available.
It is a very sad time for those of us who believe we will ultimately be held accountable for our actions.
