Festival fascinates

This year’s Berrybeat Festival was one of the best ever!
Please allow me to be one of the first citizens to express my appreciation to Ingrid Epp, volunteers, staff, and directors of the Abbotsford Downtown Business Association for a job well done.
Although I must admit that the main reason I go to events like this is to see my kids having fun, I did find myself drifting behind the jungle gyms and the fruit stands to observe the new face of the downtown business community.
Be you rich or poor, a senior or youth, a professional or an entrepreneur, there was something for everyone during the Abbotsford Berrybeat Festival.
I was so impressed with the festival that I have decided to take a leisurely stroll this summer, with my wife and kids in hand, to the various shops I discovered.
I hope all of our citizens who were at the festival would take the time to do the same. After all, it’s our downtown.
