Proud to celebrate Canada Day

I am grateful to Mayor Ferguson, to city council and to all organizers and participants for the excellent work done on Canada Day.
The parade and the activities at Rotary Stadium were appreciated by our family, and Helen and I are thankful for the effort to make this day meaningful.
From l923-l926, we were refugees from the Soviet Union. Canada accepted us and we have been able to raise our family and follow our professions in a peaceful, prosperous, and kind country.
Abbotsford has been our home since 1955. We are proud of this community and the opportunities we have enjoyed here.
