Suspicious fire rips through realty office

Just after 3 a.m. Sunday, a fire broke out at the Pepin Brook show office on the corner of Simpson and Ross in Abbotsford.

Smoke billowing was billowing out of the building when the Abbotsford Police arrived, they were unable to contain the fire with their fire extinguishers.

Firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after and put out the flames.

Damage was kept to a minimum at the scene due to the construction materials used in the office, but the fire is being treated as suspicious as two vehicles in the parking lot had their tires flattened and the area smelled of gasoline.
