"Nostalgia at its finest and shiniest" appeared to be the theme this year's 4th annual Historic Downtown Abbotsford Car Show on Saturday. A large crowd viewed the four city blocks packed with a wide variety of collector and custom cars. As Bob King, President of the Historic Downtown Abbotsford Car Show Society, mused "The September summer Saturday fills the north downtown streets with shiny classic cars, hot rods, wildly popular rock and roll music and - of course- the smell of hamburgers and old fashioned milk shakes." The truly family event brought out Paxton Bachman, the Blues Brothers Too and Elvis (aka Steve Elliott) as well as Patsy Bartholomew with her "Practically Patsy" tribute.
