Jessica Hopkins, who had been missing in the Chehalis/Harrison area for several days, was located on Monday.

Hikers in the Chehalis area told police on Sunday afternoon that they saw Hopkins' vehicle in the Chehalis area, as well as a female who could possibly be the missing 36-year-old Abbotsford woman.

With the new information, Agassiz RCMP along with RCMP Police Dog Services and Kent Harrison Search and Rescue, reconvened to search the north end of Chehalis Lake overnight and located Hopkins.

Hopkins was examined by Emergency Health Services and found to be in good physical health. She was taken to hospital for further medical assistance and has been reconnected with her family.

The Agassiz RCMP, Kent Harrison Search and Rescue and the RCMP helicopter Air 1 had all been searching for Hopkins since she was last seen in Harrison Mills on Aug. 3.
