An “Energy Basics” workshop for dogs takes place Wednesday, Aug. 19 in Abbotsford.
The session is led by Maureen Terrey of EarthAnimals Pet Services.
She teaches people how to work within the electromagnetic fields surrounding the body and learn to cultivate overall wellness for their animals.
Trained in the healing arts, she loves sharing her knowledge of Jin Shin.
“It is an art intended to be passed along and shared. My intention is to empower people to do the work themselves, to allow them to feel the experience of making a difference to their animal’s health,” she said.
The workshop is limited to five people, with one dog each.
Participants learn how to feel and direct healing energy to balance the life energy in the body, restore emotional equilibrium, relieve pain, speed up recovery time and move blocked energy.
“This really creates a huge bond between the dog and owner,” Terrey said.
The session runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bark & Fitz, 2649 Trethewey St.
