Raffle for hospital

The combined ticket-selling efforts of Abbotsford Middle School staff, PAC members and supporters, plus separate fundraising by students, resulted in more than $7,600 being raised for the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre.

The grand prize for the raffle, conducted under the auspices of the school’s PAC, was airfare for two anywhere WestJet flies. It was won by Sarah Campbell.

Other prizes went to:

– Sheila Andrews – 56 pounds of chocolate-covered blueberries;

– MSA Computers Ltd., C. Machado, Sean Eno and Scott Thornton – voucher for income tax services;

– Kim Hrubizna – two rounds of golf;

– Alexa Herbertson – $100 cash; and

– Alick Mewlow – one-month gym membership.
