Reach hosts songwriter’s circle
The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford presents an evening of song and story by several B.C. singer-songwriters.
Angela Harris, Ranj Singh and Franklyn Currie kick off a new season of Live @ The Reach on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
Harris is a Canadian recording artist and songwriter whose music brings you home as she tells stories about everyday people in their everyday lives.
Singh has garnered critical praise for his song-writing and unique melding of Indian and Folk melodic and rhythmic forms. Raised in western Canada, Ranj has added a small taste of his roots from India to his western upbringing and created a fresh new sound.
Currie is an Abbotsford singer/songwriter that finds inspiration for his “alt country with a modern twist” from both, the vast fields surrounding his hometown, and the train tracks and alleyways that line the downtown core.
Live @ The Reach is a concert series presented by Abbotsford’s new cultural centre. A great night of music surrounded by the latest exhibitions. Tickets for Live @ The Reach are $15 and are on sale now at The Reach.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
