You can check out some of the wild action on Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at www.abbotsfordcentre.ca, by phone at 866-977-2372 or at the venue box office.

Tickets are $37.50 for VIP seats, $22.50 for reserved seating, $17.50 general admission and $12.50 for kids.

Ice Racing has often described as one of the roughest, most dangerous sports in the world. It demands riders to wear more padding and protective gear than almost any other sport.

Virtually every inch of the rider is covered by custom fabricated leather or Kevlar attire and state-of-the-art high tech plastic/carbon fiber protection.

A high level of physical fitness is also required to be successful in this demanding sport.

It’s no wonder modern professional ice racers look like, and are often called “The Gladiators of Racing!!”

The world’s best professional motorcycle and quad/ATV ice racers take part in the 34rd annual world championship ice racing series, consisting of 15 rounds throughout North America.

Racers will not only be racing for prestigious individual titles each night they compete, they will also be earning valuable points towards the all-important 2010 title. For more about the sports, visit:
