It’s August so the Envision Twilight Concert Series is happy to present the group August to the stage on Aug. 26.

The concert is set for 7 p.m. at Fraser River Heritage Park.

After years of successful solo careers, Meg Tennant, Rae Armour, Beverley Elliott and Linda Kidder experienced a “light bulb moment” one afternoon after consuming several bottles of water and they haven’t looked back.

Wit, wisdom, womanhood and hilarity are some of the many threads that weave through their musical tapestry. These talented women have joined forces to create a powerful musical experience of pristine four-part harmony, with Rae and Meg on acoustic guitar, Linda on bass and Beverley on percussion.

They are equally at home on stage or on the back porch combining their unique blend of folk, country, bluegrass and pop with their own original style and panache.

Painters Carol Armquist and Gina Keiland are the Artists at Twilight on Aug. 26 and their works will be featured in the gazebo.

Admission is free but donations are accepted. For more information call the Fraser River Heritage Park at 604-826-0277.
