The Envision Twilight Concert Series has written a prescription for No Code Blue to return to Fraser River Heritage Park on Friday, July 29 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

No Code Blue is an Abbotsford-based band that loves to entertain crowds and play music from the 1960s to the latest chart toppers. Formed in the year 2000, the eight band members have a diverse musical background, yet find common ground in playing classic rock, jazz, country, and R&B.

The band, made up of six medical professionals, a land developer, and a kitchen designer, are also great friends.

Their friendship shines through on stage, as they clearly have as much fun as their audience. The combination of great dance music and great fun guarantees a good time for all.

No Code Blue plays mostly for charities and fundraisers, helping community groups like Abbotsford Hospice Society, Mission Hospice Society, Elizabeth’s Wildlife Center, the Center for Seizure and Epilepsy Education, Abbotsford Skipping Sensations, and the Fraser Valley Stage Production Society.

Halloween is a particularly fun time for the band to play, as they try to outdo their audience by dressing up in outrageous costumes.

The band has also been known to take over the stage of the (former) Yorkshire Rose in Abbotsford on occasion.

Be sure to bring your dancing shoes for these crowd pleasers.

The July 29 Artists at Twilight feature artists in the gazebo are Nancy Arcand – Little Bear Art and Ellen Miller – Aboriginal art and fused glass.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join in on all the fun at the park.

Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

For more information call the Fraser River Heritage Park at 604-826-0277.
