An evening of country-themed family entertainment is being presented by Cedar Valley Mennonite Church July 12. The event is open to the public and features the JC Celebration Band in a tribute to Johnny Cash, barbecued smokies and burgers on the grill.
Participants can wear their country best, cowboy hats, books, vests and kerchiefs. Pony rides and face-painting for the kids, and it all starts at 4 p.m. at 32840 Janzen Ave., just off Cedar Street.
