Folk rocker Brandon Chalmers and the Arbutus Collective will kick off the Live @ Leigh Square series in Port Coquitlam this Saturday.

The free summertime shows, which take place at the bandshell, located next to PoCo city hall at 1:30 p.m., are presented by the city's parks and rec department and the PoCo BIA.

And, on Sunday, Fera will launch the Music in the Park series at Lions Park at 2 p.m.

Identical twins Courtney and Stephanie, who perform under their last name, have shared the stage with such artists Randy Bachman, Bill Henderson, Jessie Farrell and Ian Tyson.

The Coquitlam country singers/songwriters have produced a full-length album and received several BCCMA nominations.
