Whether you are a stout sipper or an IPA appreciator, the Fraser Valley Culture and Craft Beer Festival is sure to hit the spot.

Returning for its fifth year, the very popular fundraising event is back on Sept. 23 at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre with an incredibly diverse selection of beers from throughout the province.

What better way to support the Chilliwack Arts and Cultural Centre Society's programming than with fantastic handcrafted beer? Presented by the society, the annual beer festival is a night of fantastic beer samples, various delectable appetizers, live entertainment, and a fabulous silent auction.

Patrons will have the opportunity to find a new favorite, with samples from 19 extraordinary breweries. This year's list of participants includes Chilliwack's own Old Yale Brewing and Chaos & Solace Craft Brewing Company, as well as Vancouver-based Granville Island Brewing and Parallel 49 Brewing Company.

Other fine breweries attending this year are: Britannia Brewing Corp, Central City Brewers and Distillers, Highway 97 Brewing Company, Hoyne Brewing Company, Red Arrow, Mission Springs Brewery, Old Abbey Ales, Pacific Western Brewing, Phillips Brewing & Malting Company, Postmark Brewing, Russell Brewing Company, Torchlight Brewing Co, Two Wolves Brewing, Whistler Brewing Co., and more.

With such a wide variety, there will be a type of beer that everyone can rave about.

The excitement continues, as the event is joined by a selection of Chilliwack's best restaurants and caterers. Lakeside Beach Club, Mr. Mikes, Jim's Pizzeria, The Clean Plate Catering, Tulip Donairs & Pizza, and White Pearl Café create the perfect pairing to enhance the flavorful selection of beers.
