Prospera Credit Union is bringing its outdoor movie series to Mission on Saturday, Aug. 12 at Fraser River Heritage Park.

The event features a screening of Back to the Future, with proceeds going towards Mission Literacy in Motion.

This is just one of a dozen showings taking place around the province.

Prospera is hosting the series of movie nights for the ninth year in a row. All of the movies start at dusk and, as always, the movie is free.

However, since this night is about community, organizers take donations on behalf local charities.

Be sure to come early to secure your spot and enjoy fun summer activities, face painting and a bouncy castle before the show.

You can view the entire Cinema Under the Stars calendar on Prospera's website at prospera.ca.
