Dr. Von Houligan’s Carnival of Calamities is the answer to a question you did not know you needed to ask. You had no idea you were dreaming of a magic show filled with fire, juggling, amazing stunts and freakish acts of dangerous oddities. The Big Top went up and suddenly the need to discover the secrets within the brightly striped tent became paramount. Smells of cotton candy, fire and popcorn permeated the air. The sounds of children’s laughter, screams of excitement tinged with fear, all these tempted you to step inside the Big Top.

Dr. Von Houligan’s Carnival is a small group that travels throughout Canada during the summer. The carnival showcases performers from across Canada and allows them to hone their skills while bringing live entertainment to small communities. Featured are acts of daring, balancing, fire dancing, juggling, magic, sideshow freaks, contortion and fun science experiments. Dr. Von Houligan’s Carnival of Calamities is focused on bringing joy and excitement to smaller communities across Canada, providing affordable family fun by honouring the traditions of the circus.
