RCA lineup

The RCA kicks off its 2014-15 season on Sept. 18 with an explosive and passionately creative "La Cueva" (The Cave) by Fiona Malena Flamenco Ensemble.

Fiona developed La Cueva during a recent creative residency in Cappadocia, Turkey. She tours with Flamenco and Sufi musicians and includes sequences of Byzantine rock caves and fairy chimneys for a highly visual production.

Other season highlights include BDO's Human Bonspiel; Out Innerspace's contemporary dance Me So You So Me; and Rick Miller of Just for Laughs as he chronicles the defining moments of the baby boom era (1945-69) in BOOM.

You don't need to be in a relationship to celebrate the Day of Love (Feb 14) at Love Bomb, a new event featuring music by Locarno, part Mexican but with strong doses of Cuban son, folk music, pop and funk.

Choose a cocktail of energy-filled gypsy jazz with the all-female Quebec band Christine Tassan et Les Imposteures or celebrate Mother's Day at the hilarious Suddenly Mommy, starring Anne Marie Scheffler from Second City and The Comedy Network.
