Robert Bateman Centre offers free admission to youth

To help celebrate B.C. Day on Monday (Aug. 4), as well as the final month before school is back in session, the Robert Bateman Centre is opening its gallery doors, providing free admission for youth under 18 year of age, and launching a colouring activity for a chance to win a Bateman Birthday Party in the gallery.

Gallery admission is free until  Sept. 1.

The colouring activity includes a grand prize of a free Bateman Birthday Party for up to 10 youth.

The party will be held within the Robert Bateman Centre, where an artist will conduct an art class for the attendees. Following the class and tour, snacks and birthday cake will be provided.

Bateman colouring sheets are available at the Robert Bateman Centre, or as a download from its website: www.batemancentre.org. Submissions can be dropped off at the gallery before 5 p.m.  Aug. 31 to enter the draw.
