Dream Cafe co-owners Pierre Couture and Debra Rice let Samantha Martin know it was OK to peel the paint off the walls.  Martin, accompanied by Delta Sugar, consisting of Stacie Tabb and Sherie Marshall on vocals and percussion and Michael McCallum on electric guitar, almost did.

Martin treated the patrons at the Delta Cafe with her amazing voice as she sang original songs tainted with Mississippi blues and gospel influences as well as putting her own touch on a few cover songs.
